So that is where we photograph them. No carriers, no waiting rooms, no strange studio smells. Just your pet, their favourite sunlit corner, and two or three unhurried hours.

Why home visits
A calm pet photographs better than a brave one.
Car rides, unfamiliar rooms and bright strobes ask a lot of an animal. What comes back is a portrait of a pet enduring something: alert eyes, tucked tail, the polite tolerance of a creature waiting to go home.
We remove the ask entirely. Your living room, their bed, the patch of floor they have claimed as theirs. The expressions you already know are the ones that end up on your wall.
How a session worksOne session, under two hours
Watch a dog decide he trusts you.
Three frames from Cashew's shoot, in the order they were taken. Nothing was staged and nothing was rushed. The whole thing took under two hours: this is simply what happens once a corgi decides the camera is a friend.
Head tilt. Working us out.
Cashew holds very still and studies the lens like it owes him an explanation. We do not push. We sit down too, and let the room get boring.
Settled in. Grinning about it.
He claims the crate as his own and the ears go soft. The lens has stopped being a threat and started being the thing he is pleased to see.
Paw out. Fully himself.
Up on his hind legs, one paw offered to nobody in particular. Under two hours bought exactly one second, and that second is the portrait.
